Yes. Every estimate is free, written, and yours to keep. I don't charge to come look at a project or to put a number on it. You'll never get a surprise bill for an estimate. If a project is large enough to need design work or engineered drawings, I'll tell you that upfront and we'll talk about it before any cost is involved.

Oklahoma does not require a general contractor license at the state level, but I carry liability insurance and I build to current International Residential Code standards. No. I don't do plumbing, electrical, or HVAC — I stick to what I've mastered. When a project needs those trades — a kitchen remodel with moved water lines, a bath with new circuits, an addition that needs HVAC — I work alongside licensed plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians and coordinate them as part of the job. I'll tell you straight when a project needs a licensed trade, and I'd rather refer you to a specialist than do that work myself. This is a standard, not a gap — it means the work behind the walls is done by people who specialize in it.

Because doing them right requires licensing, specialized tools, and the kind of daily practice that makes a tradesman sharp. A generalist who runs a little bit of pipe or pulls a little wire is the contractor who creates the problems I get called to fix.
